📣 MGE PTA News & Upcoming Events

🎁 MGE Giving Tree – December 1–10
Help us bring joy to families supported by the Fort Bend Women’s Center this holiday season. Families can donate by selecting items from the Amazon Wish List or by purchasing items elsewhere and dropping gifts at school to help fill our Giving Tree. Donations will support children and families through the Center’s Santa Store, along with food and hygiene kits for the holiday season. *Please note that even if it says item is fulfilled, they would like multiple of the items so it can still be purchased.

🍕 Griffin Spirit Nights – Crust Pizza & Ivy & Rae Boutique
Support MGE while grabbing dinner or shopping locally! On Thursday, Crust Pizza will give 15% back to MGE from 4:30–9 PM and Ivy & Rae Boutique will donate 10% of purchases from 10 AM–6 PM. Thank you for showing your Griffin spirit with every slice and every style.

🌍 International Festival Planning Meeting – Friday, 1/9 at 10 AM
We’re excited to begin planning this year’s International Festival, a wonderful celebration of the diverse cultures represented within our Griffin community. Join us on Friday, January 9th at 10 AM in the LGA to help shape this event-whether by partnering with others from your home country, hosting a table, or offering support. All are welcome.

🧣 Winter Spirit Wear - Arriving This Week!
All Winter Spirit Wear orders will be delivered this week. Thank you for supporting MGE-we can’t wait to see our Grizzlies enjoying their new gear.

Order today so you won't regret it in May! Can't remember if you've already bought a book? Check the Jostens site here to look up your order.

Don't forget to order a Recognition Ad for your student! The deadline is February 9, 2026! Gather 3-4 photos and write a short note about how special your student is, then head over to the Jostens site to create your Ad! This is an optional purchase and is open to students of all grades. If you have any questions or need help creating your ad, our Yearbook team is happy to help. Email yearbook@mgeptatx.org for assistance.

Calling all dads, step-fathers, grandfathers, uncles and other father figures! We invite you to join our Watch D.O.G.S. program, a volunteer program that works to support education and school safety.
