Hello!


I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! 

Our first PTA General Membership meeting is Thursday, September 3rd at 10:30 am in the LGA. This meeting is open to everyone and we'd love for you to join to learn more about how our PTA supports the school. We hope to see you there!

If you haven't had the chance, please contribute to the Homeroom Party Fund by visiting the online store on our website, www.mgeptatx.org. The Homeroom Party Fund finances the Fall and Spring parties that the kids love!

Do you love what you do professionally and want to share it with you child and their classmates? Then please sign up to participate in Career Day on October 2nd. This is a fantastic way to volunteer in your child's classroom and expose students to all the cool and interesting careers that are available. It's a win/win and a fun time!

Our first fundraiser of the year is underway and we'd love for you to consider hosting a party to help fund improvements at MGE. Sign up parties submissions are due September 4th! Contact Catherine with any questions.

Help Fund the Fun! Homeroom Party Fund

PTA will be hosting Fall and Spring parties for our students. We are asking for a $10.00 contribution to the party fund per student to support this endeavor. Only online payments will be accepted. Please visit our MGE PTA Online Store at https://www.mgeptatx.org/. Thanks!

A few important reminders: 

  • Each School Supply Kit includes 1 membership.
  • All family members are welcome and invited to join the MGE PTA! Don’t forget to purchase memberships for both parents, grandparents, etc. 
  • Joining the MGE PTA is a great way to show school support and allows you to attend membership meetings. A portion of every membership goes directly into programming, and helps with educational advocacy at the state level by Texas PTA.
